Ken Sorrentino, Jr.
Founder & CEO
Ken helps clients bring structure and clarity to every aspect of their financial lives. He works closely with individuals and families to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans that align with their goals and values. His work includes investment analysis, tax planning, retirement planning, risk management, and multi-generational wealth strategies - all designed to help clients make informed decisions with confidence. He holds his Series 66 & 7 through LPL Financial.
Before founding Lordship Financial Group, Ken served as an advisor with Retirement Planning Partners in North Haven, Connecticut. Joining that firm just before the pandemic, he focused on building long-term client relationships, developing investment strategies, and expanding the firm’s planning capabilities.
Earlier in his career, Ken worked for the Yale University Athletics Department in Sports Publicity, where he was involved in nearly every aspect of live sports broadcasting and media operations. As an intern, he designed game programs and managed team social media accounts, before being hired to assist with Yale’s ESPN streaming production. In this role, Ken coordinated live broadcasts, developed standard operating procedures for technical production, trained student staff and colleagues, and overall made major contributions both behind the scenes and occasionally on air. His work supported Yale’s effort to elevate the visibility and professionalism of its athletic programs during a period of major media expansion. Ken helped lead the teams that adapted Yale’s historic venues for modern video needs and that saw the highest viewed broadcasts in the Ivy League.
Ken earned his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from the University of New Haven’s College of Business. He minored in Behavioral Economics, researching game theory, decision-making, and the market value of various professional athletes. While at New Haven, Ken worked in the library, managed business operations for the student newspaper, and got to write articles as well. Ken graduated early through an accelerated “FastTrack” three-year program.
A lifelong resident of Stratford, Ken proudly remains active in the community where he grew up. Ken has coached youth soccer with the Sterling House Community Center and received the Debbie Diaz Award for his contributions to the program’s officiating. He has been recognized by the Town of Stratford for his work in preserving historic landmarks - including an original “Franklin Mile Marker”, one of fewer than 50 remaining. Ken is fluent in American Sign Language and lives in Stratford with his fiancée, Sharissa.
