Helping Steelpointe Shine

Part of representing Lordship is being socially responsible and caring for the environment's future. At Lordship Financial Group, these values are inseparable from our mission of protecting legacies. We are continually seeking opportunities to be more environmentally conscious.

In the 1980s and 1990s, Bridgeport had an actual mountain of trash on Central Avenue, near Exit 30 off I-95. Clergy from the nearby East End Tabernacle Baptist Church prayed every week – We Shall Overcome. It took years of this prayer, political maneuvering, and activist movement for “Mt. Trashmore” to be physically removed.

Lordship Financial Group has partnered with the Adopt A Highway Maintenance Corporation to sponsor professional cleanup services on highways in Bridgeport. This corporation cleans nearly 56,000 miles of highways across the United States every year. Our efforts with them are a tangible part of our commitment to the health of our community. We believe this will be a part of Lordship Financial Group’s legacy.

Promoting Financial Literacy

Lordship Financial’s Ken Sorrentino has made an impact on financial literacy in Stratford Public Schools. The discussions and conversations after the presentations are usually just as valuable, to both students and parents. Ken graduated from “the old” Stratford High School in 2016 – he played football, trombone, and he was a drum major in the band.
